Custom jigs and fixtures in Charleston

Build a practical aid around the way your team works.

Show us the repetitive task

A fixture brief starts with your process. Describe what needs to be positioned, supported, spaced, or aligned. Photos of the work area and a simple sketch of the desired setup help explain the job. Examples include assembly nests, positioning guides, and part organizers.

Define the contact points

Show which surfaces touch the workpiece, which areas must remain accessible, and where fasteners or clamps will sit. Identify the dimensions that control positioning. Include any heat, chemicals, repeated loading, or wear that may affect the design decision.

Trial one before repeating it

For a new fixture, consider a single trial unit before ordering copies. Use it in the actual workflow and note any interference or awkward handling. The next revision can incorporate that feedback before a larger batch is approved.

A clearly scoped workshop tool

We review the application before quoting and may ask for more measurements or suggest a different approach. Requirements for accuracy, working conditions, and consequences of failure belong in the first conversation, not after the print is finished.
